Belarus-Australia cooperation in 2013 discussed in Moscow

MOSCOW, 1 November (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Mr Igor Petrishenko and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Australia to Russia with concurrent accreditation in Belarus Ms Margaret Eileen Twomey determined priorities in Belarus-Australia cooperation in 2013. The meeting of the diplomats took place in Moscow on 1 November, the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission told BelTA.

The ambassadors discussed topical matters pertaining to the development of the bilateral relations and cooperation of the two countries in the international scene. Among other things the further joint steps in the establishment of the political dialogue, expansion of the legal base for Belarus-Australia relations, enhancement of the volume of trade and economic cooperation were discussed, BelTA has learned.
