Belarus-Germany FreBor praised by European Business Association

MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian-German joint company Fresenius-Borisov-Dializotekhnik (FreBor trademark) received an international quality award of the European Business Association (London, the UK) for high quality of the product and successful advancement of its latest medical developments, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

The award ceremony was held as part of the 21st International Medical Exhibition in Kyiv on 23-26 October. The organizers of the expo included the Healthcare Ministry of Ukraine, the National Academy of Medical Sciences and the Kyiv State Administration.

Partaking in the expo on Belarus’ behalf was Borisov Plant of Healthcare Products. All in all, the forum gathered over 250 participants from Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Turkey, China, Malaysia. The forum featured a wide range of medical equipment and technologies.

The Belarusian-German joint company Fresenius-Borisov-Dializotekhnik was founded in December 1989. Fresenius Medical Care (FMC) is the company’s founder from Germany. The company’s capacities based on unique technologies and designed for the annual production of 2 million of dialyzers were introduced in 1992. The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry named FreBor the best exporter in 2011 in the nomination, Products for Treatment and Rehabilitation.
