Modern customs control system facilitates integration in Customs Union

MINSK, 20 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko sent Customs Officers’ Day greetings to the command, personnel and veterans of the customs service of the Republic of Belarus on 20 September, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service.

“Your commitment and conscientious work helps protect the economic interests of the state, fight against transboundary crimes. Leading-edge customs control system makes its huge contribution to the integration process, first of all, in the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space,” the message of congratulations runs.

The head of state expressed confidence that the customs personnel of Belarus will continue their selfless work for the sake of the Motherland, protecting its interests and sovereignty.
