Petrishenko appointed Belarus’ Ambassador to Russia

MINSK, 10 September (BelTA) – President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has appointed Igor Petrishenko Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.

President also approved the appointment of Alexander Mikhnevich as First Deputy Foreign Minister. Alexander Mikhnevich used to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
