OSCE PA observers to meet with Belarus CEC on 10 September
MINSK, 4 September (BelTA) – The observation mission of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly plans to hold a meeting at the CEC of Belarus on 10 September, BelTA learnt from Secretary of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Nikolai Lozovik.
“As far as I know, they have already put in a request to hold a meeting. The OSCE PA mission is expected at the CEC next Monday,” Nikolai Lozovik said.
BelTA informed earlier that Matteo Mecacci had been appointed chief of the OSCE PA observation team.
The Belarusian Central Election Commission holds regular meetings with representatives of the OSCE/ODIHR. Nikolai Lozovik underlined that long-term observers are provided with exhaustive information by the CEC.
