Belarus’ oil exports down 15.5% in January-February

MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) – In January-February 2013 the export of Belarusian oil products fell 15.5% from the same period last year to almost 2.7 million tonnes. The average price for oil products made up $801 per tonne, going down 4.7%, BelTA learnt from the National Statistics Committee.

Over the time under review, oil exports to the CIS increased by 20.6% over the same months of 2012 to reach 689,500 tonnes (the average price totaled $904, down 4.7%).

Oil product supplies to non-CIS contracted by 23.5% as against the same months of 2012 to 1.976 million tonnes, with the average price going down by 6.3% to $766 per tonne.

Crude oil exports reduced 3.3% to 260,400 tonnes. The average price was $806 per tonne, down 0.3%. The oil was supplied to the non-CIS states.

In January-February 2013 supplies of Belarusian liquefied gas abroad grew 30.7% to 80,152 tonnes. The average price stood at $733, down 7.2% from the same moths in 2012. Liquefied gas supplies to the CIS increased more than two times to 30,365 tonnes at the average price of $743 per tonne (down by 15.1%). Liquefied gas supplies to non-CIS grew 7.7% to 49.787 tonnes (the average price went down by 5% to $721 per tonne).
