CIS foreign ministers to discuss fight against cybercrimes in Tashkent

MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) – A session of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council will take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on 5 April. It will be chaired by Belarusian Foreign Minister Mr Vladimir Makei, Mr Andrei Savinykh, Head of the Information Office, Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, told media on 4 April.

The agenda includes discussions about the draft agreements on cooperation between the border services of the CIS states in responding fast to border security threats, on interaction of the CIS states in the fight against cybercrimes, and on the mutual recognition of higher education certificates, explained the official.

Apart from that, decisions will be made on the documents relevant for the cooperation of the CIS states in security matters, crime control, sport, and tourism.
