Salerno launches best Italian investment project in Belarus award
MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) – The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Salerno (Italy) has instituted an award for the best Italian investment project that is to be implemented in Belarus, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Salerno Province Antonio Ilardi said at the Belarusian-Italian Investment Forum in Minsk on 4 April.
In his words, cooperation between the two countries should continue developing. “We believe in this idea and have launched the best project award to a business that will represent Salerno in Belarus,” the Vice President said. He added that today’ event is attended by representatives of the Italian bank (Banca Popolare di Vicenza) that cooperates with Italian companies that investment in Belarus.
Mr Ilardi stressed that the award means €3,000 for business ventures envisaging, n particular, the analysis of the market and local competitive conditions. “This symbolic sum will promote business initiative,” the Italian representative is confident.
Minsk is hosting a delegation of businessmen from Campania (Italy) interested in studying Belarus’ investment potential on 3-6 April. The Italian delegation comprises businessmen involved in the production of metal goods, textile, construction of fitness centers and swimming pools, sales of equipment for roadside cafes. The Belarusian-Italian forum organized by the National Investment and Privatization Agency opened on 4 April.
