Union State MPs to discuss new budgeting procedures in Borisov

MOSCOW, 3 April (BelTA) – A session of the Commission for Budget and Finances of the Union State Parliamentary Assembly will be held in Borisov, Minsk Oblast, on 4-5 April, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Parliamentary Assembly.

The agenda features a number of budget-related matters. They include elaboration of a revised version of the Union State budget formation and execution procedures, preliminary results of the Union State budget execution in 2012, findings of the State Control Committee of Belarus and the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation on the report of the Union State Council of Ministers on the budget execution in 2011.

Participants of the session will review the results of the implementation of Belrostransgen and Belrostransgen-2 programs and prospects of further research projects in this field.

“The MPs will also discuss efforts to fulfill the decisions of the Parliamentary Commission to create new growth points within the framework of major joint projects of Russian and Belarusian companies. These decisions were formalized by the Parliamentary Assembly’s resolution on the draft Decree of the Supreme State Council of the Union State “Concerning the Union State budget for 2013”. The MPs urged to consider including expenses on supporting Belarus-Russia interregional cooperation into the Union State budget,” the press service informed.

Taking part in the session will be Union State MPs, representatives of the Union State Permanent Committee and a number of ministries and agencies of Belarus and Russia.

During the visit to Minsk Oblast, members of the Parliamentary Assembly will meet with Chairman of the Borisov District Executive Committee Vladimir Mironovich, visit the Research Center for Animal Breeding of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and BelAZ in Zhodino.
