Belarusian-Czech agricultural task group to meet in Gorki 11 April

MOGILEV, 3 April (BelTA) – On 11 April Gorki will play host to a meeting of a task group on agricultural cooperation set up as part of the Belarusian-Czech mixed commission on economic, industrial and sci-tech cooperation, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy.

A Czech delegation led by Vice Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries of the European Union, Chairman of the Czech part of the task group on agriculture and foodstuffs Jaroslav Benes Spalkova will come to Belarus to have a look at the national agro-industrial complex and discuss bilateral cooperation in agriculture.

The Czech guests will get familiar with the physical infrastructure of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy: visit a school-farm, an industrial and fishery complex, sports and other facilities. The parties are expected to meet at a roundtable to discuss development of bilateral cooperation. On 12 April the Czech delegation will be taken on a tour to the construction site of the Borisovsky pig breeding farm and the Borisov Meat Packing Plant (Minsk Oblast).
