Alexander Lukashenko offers Easter greetings

MINSK, 1 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko extended Easter greetings to the Belarusian Catholics as they celebrated the Resurrection of Christ on 31 March.

“Every year millions of believers worldwide bow before the infinite greatness of the sacrifice of Christ. Just like the spring sun warms the earth, the Resurrection of Christ enhances spirituality, revives faith in kindness and justice, makes people happy. Easter is a symbol of rejuvenation and peacefulness, a life-giving foundation of the Christian humanism. It evokes eagerness to live in love, work honestly, help those who need care and attention,” the message of greetings runs.

“May the Resurrection of Christ become an unflagging source of hope and assistance for you in fulfilling the most cherished dreams and aspirations, inspire and encourage you to work hard for the benefit of every family and native Belarus,” the President wished.
