Lukashenko presents state awards
MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) – The newest solutions of the Powder Metallurgy Institute allowed increasing the quality, competitiveness and reliability of industrial products, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said as he presented state awards on 29 April, BelTA has learnt.
The research and production association Center has developed and implemented a wide range of technological equipment for mining and construction industries, Alexander Lukashenko said.
The President emphasized the importance of cutting-edge technologies to build and repair bridges mastered by OAO Mostootryad No. 425 from Vitebsk.
The head of state also noted that in recent years BelAZ has ramped up production and sales of its machinery. Last year alone, the company’s export to non-CIS states rose almost 1.5 times. According to the President, the success should be cemented this year.
