Belarus oil products export 10.9% up in 2012

MINSK, 19 February (BelTA) – In 2012 Belarus exported 17.455 million tonnes of oil products, 10.9% up from 2011. The average price for Belarusian oil products edged up 2.9% to $833 per tonne, representatives of the National Statistics Committee told BelTA.

In 2012 Belarus’ export of oil products to the CIS states soared by 45.7% to about 4.871 million tonnes. The price per tonne of oil products averaged $952.

Non-CIS export rose by 1.5% in 2012 to 12.584 million tonnes, with the average price at $786 per tonne.

Crude oil export dropped by 1.8% to 1.645 million tonnes. The average price totaled $783 per tonne, 0.6% down. The oil was exported to non-CIS states.

The export of Belarusian liquefied gas amounted to 242,100 tonnes, 32.9% up. The average price per tonne dropped by 5.5% from 2011 to $775. The export of liquefied gas to CIS states rose by 59.7% to 158,400 tonnes, with the average price per tonne at $828 (6% down). The export of liquefied gas to non-CIS states went up 20.9% to 265,700 tonnes, with the average price per tonne at $743.
