Lukashenko welcomes participants of Minsk International Book Fair

MINSK, 6 February (BelTA) – President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to participants of the 20th Minsk International Book Fair, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.

Alexander Lukashenko noted that the forum has turned into one of the most remarkable cultural events of Belarus and has earned a great reputation in the global book community. “This anniversary exhibition will review the Year of the Book campaign, the results of huge efforts to promote reading, literature and books,” the message of greetings reads.

“We cordially welcome the guest of honor of the exhibition, Russia, and all other foreign participants who will present expositions of their countries. I am convinced that the visitors will appreciate your publishing products,” the President noted.

Alexander Lukashenko wished the organizers and participants of the forum to achieve many successes and wished visitors to have great experience with books.
