International Reserve Bank renamed into Eurotorginvestbank

MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) – The National Bank of the Republic of Belarus registered the name change of International Reserve Bank on 21 January. The bank will now be called Eurotorginvestbank, BelTA has learnt.

The bank has adopted a new strategy - to become a multi-functional financial institution with a developed regional network. The new name is just the first step towards the renovation. “Today we are facing an ambitious task – to become a bank that meets up-to-date requirements of customers, a bank that offers innovative products and services as well as excellent customer service,” Chairman of the Board of the bank Viktor Doronkevich told BelTA.

International Reserve Bank was founded in 2002. The controlling stake in the bank was purchased by Belarus’ Eurotorg retailer in May 2012. The core business of the bank is retail lending.
