Belarusian diplomat hands over credentials to Ecuador Vice President

MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Ecuador on concurrent Oleg Paferov handed over the credentials to Vice President of the Republic of Ecuador Lenin Moreno in Quito on 23 January, BelTA learnt from the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

Oleg Pafenov updated the Vice President of Ecuador on the social and economic situation in Belarus as well as the country’s export potential.

The diplomat confirmed Belarus’ interest in expanding all-round cooperation with Ecuador. Mr Moreno noted that the appointment of the Belarusian Ambassador in Ecuador would promote development and expansion of bilateral cooperation.
