Belarus, Turkmenistan mark 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations

MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) - President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko sent a greeting message to Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov as the two countries celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, BelTA learned from the presidential press service.

“Over the past years we have managed to develop sound interstate cooperation. I am convinced that the 20th anniversary of Belarus-Turkmenistan diplomatic relations is just the beginning. Our joint work has huge prospects and great constructive future,” the message of greetings runs.

“We will continue to value close cooperation with Turkmenistan in the future,” the Belarusian head of state stressed.
