BCCI to hold conference for Belarusian SMEs, potential investors from EU

MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) intends to hold an investment conference for Belarusian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and potential investors from the European Union in the second half of 2013 within the framework of the international technical assistance project “Investments in the East”.

It is planned that representatives of the government bodies of Belarus and the European Union will make speeches on the investment climate and investment opportunities. A business matchmaking session will be organized for representatives of small and medium-sized business in Belarus and enterprises from EU countries.

It is expected that the conference will be attended by representatives of Belarusian small and medium-sized enterprises, members of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry working in the following sectors: agriculture and processing; tourism and recreation; renewable energy; information and computer technologies; light industry and textiles; transport and logistics; energy-efficient construction and production of energy-efficient building materials.
