Belarus to attend NATO’s Military Committee meeting

MINSK, 16 January (BelTA) – Belarus is expected to take part in a meeting of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Military Committee at the level of the heads of the General Staffs of the Armed Forces of the NATO member states and partner countries, BelTA learnt from the Defense Ministry of Belarus.

The meeting will take place in the NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. Partaking in the meeting on Belarus’ behalf will be head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Defense Minister of Belarus Mayor-General Piotr Tikhonovsky.

The participants of the meeting will discuss military cooperation in the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council, participation of partner countries in the NATO’s activity for strengthening international and regional security.
