BelAZ to start export of bulldozers, water sprinkling trucks to Venezuela

MINSK, 9 January (BelTA) - In 2013 Belarusian Autoworks (BelAZ trademark) will start the export of bulldozers BelAZ-78231 and water sprinkling trucks BelAZ-76470 to Venezuela, BelTA learnt from the company.

This year the company will continue to supply rock haulers and frontal wheeled loaders to Venezuela.

For the past four years alone, BelAZ has supplied the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela with more than 100 dump trucks and special-purpose vehicles, mostly rock haulers with the payload capacity of 30 to 180 tonnes, frontal wheeled loaders BelAZ-78221. More than 20 rock haulers МоАЗ-75291 are in operation in Venezuela today.

Belarus-made mining equipment is used in this South American country to transport various minerals, in the production cycle of industrial enterprises, on construction sites, and in repair and construction of roads.

Founded in September 1948, the Zhodino-based mechanical engineering company Belarusian Autoworks (BelAZ) was incorporated into a joint-stock company in 2010. The company is part of the system of enterprises of the Belarusian Industry Ministry. BelAZ offers rock haulers, frontal wheeled loaders and bulldozers, tow trucks, special vehicles for underground operations, heavy-duty trucks for metallurgy industry, and other specialized vehicles. BelAZ accounts for a third of the global market of rock haulers.
