Belarus-Ukraine cooperation in politics, economy discussed

MINSK, 8 January (BelTA) – Prospects of advancing Belarusian-Ukrainian cooperation in politics and economy were discussed at the meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ukraine Mr Valentin Velichko and Mr Nikolai Doroshenko, Director of the First Territorial Department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, on 8 January, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry told BelTA.

BelTA has been told that the meeting had been arranged upon the initiative of the Ukrainian side. Topical matters on the bilateral agenda were also discussed at the meeting.

Apart from that, matters concerning the experience of Belarus’ participation in integration processes and the formation of the Customs Union were discussed.
