Republican Labor and Justice Party, A Just Russia to sign cooperation agreement

MINSK, 5 January (BelTA) – The Republican Labor and Justice Party of Belarus and A Just Russia plan to sign an agreement on joint efforts to promote integration on the post-Soviet space, Chairman of the Republican Labor and Justice Party Vasily Zadnepryany told BelTA.

In his words, the parties are now drafting the agreement on joint efforts to build the Customs Union, the Union State, the Single Economic Space and the Eurasian Union. The document is to be signed in Moscow after 15 January. In line with the agreement, the Republican Labor and Justice Party and A Just Russia will take an active part in the celebration of the Unity Day of Peoples of Belarus and Russia marked on 2 April.

Vasily Zadnepryany added that the Republican Labor and Justice Party intends to sign similar agreements with like-minded political parties from Ukraine in February and Kazakhstan in March. “We will promote partnership on the post-Soviet space together,” Vasily Zadnepryany said.

This year the Republican Labor and Justice Party will mark its 20th anniversary. The party was established on 26 June 1993. It is a leftist party; its slogan is “Labor and justice and timeless values of humankind”.
