EEC Council adopts new Customs Union technical regulation
MOSCOW, 4 July (BelTA) - The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission adopted the Customs Union technical regulation “Concerning the safety of equipment operating under excess pressure” at a session in Moscow on 2 July, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The technical regulation enters into force on 1 February 2014. It applies to the equipment operating under excess pressure and its elements and components, hardware and safety devices which are put into circulation on the territory of the Customs Union for the first time.
The session also adopted a decision to continue work to draft the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty and codify international treaties which shape the legal framework of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space.
