Relations with EU in the focus of Belarusian-Irish ministerial consultations

MINSK, 8 July (BelTA) – Issues of international and bilateral cooperation, and also the status of relations between Belarus and the European Union are in the focus of political consultations between the foreign ministries of Belarus and Ireland in Dublin on 8 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

It is expected that the countries will pay particular attention to the cooperation in the areas of humanitarian assistance, trade and investment, education and culture.

The Belarusian delegation is expected to hold a series of meetings in the Cabinet and Parliament of Ireland.

The Belarusian delegation is headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Elena Kupchina, the Irish delegation by Minister of State for European Affairs Lucinda Creighton.
