Belarus, Indonesia mark 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations
MINSK, 18 June (BelTA) - President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to President of Indonesia SusiloBambang Yudhoyono as the two countries celebrate the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations, BelTA learned from the presidential press service.
The Belarusian head of state stressed: “Over the period the two countries have made considerable progress in the development of cooperation in various industries. High-level and top-level contacts have been increasingly vibrant, trade and economic cooperation has been steadily developing, the dialogue of important issues on the international agenda is expanding”.
Alexander Lukashenko expressed hope that the solid foundation of bilateral partnership laid down during the negotiations held as part of his first visit to Indonesia in March 2013 will become a strong impetus for successful Belarusian-Indonesian ties.
