Belarus, Russia to discuss arms control issues

MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) – Joint actions of the Defense Ministries of Belarus and Russia in the issues regarding the implementation of the international arms control agreements in 2013 will be discussed in a meeting of the joint advisory arms control group in Minsk on 27-29 March, BelTA learnt from the Defense Ministry of Belarus.

The parties are expected to analyze joint activity in 2012 and coordinate their positions on the most important international issues from the point of view of bilateral cooperation of the Defense Ministries of Belarus and Russia.

The Russian delegation will be led by Deputy Head of the National Nuclear Security Center of the Russian Federation Colonel Ruslan Shishin.
