SES power market development to be discussed in Minsk

MINSK, 26 March (BelTA) – A project for common electricity market of the member states of the Single Economic Space (SES) will be discussed in Minsk as part of the 2nd meeting of the Advisory Committee for Electric Power Industry under the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) on 26 March, BelTA learnt from the EEC press service.

The participants of the meeting are expected to talk over the implementation of the agreement “Concerning the access to the services of natural monopolies in the electric power industry, including basic principles of pricing and tariff policy”.

Partaking in the event will be EEC Minister for Energy and Infrastructure Danial Akhmetov, Deputy Energy Minister of Belarus Mikhail Mikhadyuk, Deputy Minister for Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Dzhaksaliyev, Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia Anatoly Golomolzin, and representatives of energy companies of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space.
