CSTO plan of consultations approved in Moscow

MINSK, 6 March (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Russian Federation, Belarus Permanent Representative in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Igor Petrishenko took part in a meeting of the CSTO Permanent Council in Moscow on 5 March, BelTA learnt from the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

Attending the meeting was CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha, representatives of the CSTO Command United Headquarters, heads of the departments of the CSTO Secretariat.

CSTO plenipotentiary representatives considered draft action plan for the implementation of the decisions taken up by the CSTO Collective Security Council in the meeting in December 2012, the draft plan of consultations on the CSTO foreign policy, security and defense issues for H2 2013-H1 2014.

The participants also discussed issues related to the preparation of meetings of CSTO charter bodies in 2013.
