Brazil’s Para state keen on establishing joint venture with Belarus

MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Brazil Leonid Krupets and Governor of Brazil’s Para state Simao Jatene discussed ways to expand cooperation between Belarus and Para, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

Leonid Krupets drew attention to the export opportunities of Belarusian companies and a possibility to export Belarus-made goods to Brazil.

During the visit to the state of Para, the Belarusian ambassador met with ministers of industry, agriculture, healthcare and education, representatives of manufacturing and agricultural associations of the state.

Leonid Krupets took part in the opening ceremony of the 11th annual industrial exhibition of the state held in Belem. Representatives of the state showed interest in purchasing MTZ, BelAZ and Gomselmash machines, increasing imports of potash fertilizers, setting up a joint venture to blend fertilizers and establishing ties with the Belarusian National Technical University.
