No disagreements between Belarus, Russia in security, military cooperation matters

MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) – There are no disagreements between Belarus and Russia in matters of security and military cooperation. The statement was made by Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev after meeting with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on 6 May, BelTA has learned.

According to Nikolai Patrushev, the security councils of Belarus and Russia constantly stay in touch, discuss various matters of international and regional security. Consultations about various topics are held regularly. “We have informed the President about these matters. I think we have no disagreements. The President drew attention to our military and military and technical cooperation. Regular contacts are maintained in this field, too,” remarked the Secretary of the Security Council of Russia.

“In my opinion when we talk about Belarus and Russia, we talk not even about cooperation but about working together. We are building the Union State, we have common interests,” stressed Nikolai Patrushev.

“The issues that may emerge are addressed in a routinely manner with constructive results,” added the official.
