Russia, Belarus to sign readmission agreement 15 November

MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) - Russia and Belarus will sign the readmission agreement on 15 November, First Deputy Interior Minister, head of the criminal police Valentin Mikhnevich told reporters in the House of Representatives on 13 November.

“The agreement will be signed on Friday. Representatives of the Russian Federal Migration Service are already in Belarus," said Valentin Mikhnevich.
He also noted that on behalf of Belarus the document will be signed by Interior Minister Igor Shunevich, and on behalf of Russia by head of the Federal Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsky.

For Belarus it will be the third document. Earlier such agreements have been signed with Turkey and Kazakhstan. The agreement with Turkey is in the process of ratification. The bill was passed in the House of Representatives on 13 November.

“It is very important for us to gain experience in this area,” said the Deputy Minister. He also said that the readmission center will be located in Minsk, at 1st Okrestino Pereulok.
