Oil product transit tariff via Belarus up 0.9% as from 1 December

MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – Belarus will increase the tariff for pipeline transportation of oil products by 0.9% as from 1 December, reads resolution No. 76 of the Economy Ministry as of 23 October 2013, officially published on the national legal Internet portal, BelTA learned.

The document instructs “to set the tariff for transportation of oil products through trunk pipelines located on the territory of Belarus operated by the private production unitary enterprise Zapad-Transnefteprodukt at $2.36 per 1 tonne per 100km.”

The last time the tariff was raised was on 1 April 2013. Back then the tariff for pipeline transportation of oil products was raised by 12% to $2.34 per 1 tonne per 100km.

The new document has been adopted in accordance with the agreement between the Government of Belarus and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the use of main oil pipelines located on the territory of Belarus as of 8 June 2004 and Decree No. 72 “Concerning some issues of regulation of prices (tariffs) in the Republic of Belarus" dated 25 February 2011.
