Makei, Erdogan discuss Belarus-Turkey trade projects

MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei met with Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on 1 November, BelTA has learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

The parties showed interest in developing and strengthening cooperation, for which Belarus and Turkey have every economic condition. The parties also discussed joint projects aimed at a considerable growth of mutual trade.

The Belarusian Foreign Minister praised the momentum in bilateral contacts and noted that Turkey was among Belarus’ important and promising economic partners.

The sides also talked over the implementation of the agreements reached at the meeting of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan in 2010.
