China’s first trade fair in Minsk on 9-11 October

MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) – The first Chinese (Heilongjiang) trade fair will be held in Minsk on 9-11 October, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).

The exposition at the Belexpo pavilion will feature еру projects and exhibits of more than 80 Chinese companies operating in sectors such as energy, engineering, construction, agriculture, light industry and pharmaceutics.

It is expected that attending the forum will be Belarusian Vice Premier, Chairman of the Belarusian-Chinese commission for trade and economic cooperation Anatoly Tozik and Vice Governor of Heilongjiang Province Sun Dongsheng.

The proposal to hold an exhibition of goods and projects of the Chinese province in Belarus in 2013 was made by the Chinese side in June 2012 at the meeting between First Vice Premier of Belarus Vladimir Semashko and Governor of Heilongjiang Province Wang Xiankui. “A delegation of Heilongjiang Province paid an official visit to Minsk in December 2012. We agreed to hold such an exhibition during the talks hosted by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry,” the BCCI said.

The first Chinese (Heilongjiang) trade fair is organized with assistance and participation of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
