Bobruiskagromash mulls over joint plants in Poland, France

MOGILEV, 4 October (BelTA) – Bobruiskagromash Management Holding Company has plans to set up joint plants in Poland and France, BelTA learnt from deputy head of the company’s marketing department Valentina Zhura.

Agreements on setting up joint companies were reached following the company’s participation in two big international agro-industrial exhibitions AgroShow 2013 in Poland and ShowRoom 2013 in Troyes, France, in September. “We have found serious partners who are ready to sell and advance our products on the European market as well as organize proper service and set up joint plants, first of all, to manufacture trailers and fertilizer distributors,” Valentina Zhura said.

In her words, Bobruiskagromash has been gradually returning to the European market. European agrarians purchased Bobruisk-made equipment during the Soviet Union times. This period was followed by a decline in supplies. “Today we are resuming our shipments to Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Romania, Poland, France. Western consumers praise Belarusian equipment for value for money factor,” Valentina Zhura stressed.

Bobruiskagromash supplies abroad are on a constant increase. In January-August 2013 the company sold its products worth more than $40 million overseas, up 8% on the same period last year. The company posted a trade surplus of $24.6 million, with exports accounting for more than 60% of the total sales.

Bobruiskagromash Holding Company is a major manufacturer of agricultural machines in Belarus. Mounted and trailed machines for harvesting and distributing fodder constitute the bulk of the output. The company also offers machines to dispense organic and mineral fertilizers, to harvest flax in rolls, dump trailers for tractors of various kinds and other products.

Bobruiskagromash was set up in 1974 and was registered as a joint-stock company in 2005. The company employs nearly 2,400 professionals.
