No date yet set for Union State government session, Rapota says

MOSCOW, 28 October (BelTA) - The date of the session of the Union State Council of Ministers has not been set yet, State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota told BelTA during the expert seminar Union State’s Media Image, which is underway in Moscow on 28 October.

"It is not yet clear, but I hope that the date of the session of the Union State Council of Ministers will be announced in the forthcoming days,” Grigory Rapota said.

He also expressed hope that the 2014 Union State budget, which will be reviewed by the Union State Council of Ministers, will be approved. “The draft budget is ready. We will begin the new year with the new budget in any case. However, we would like to complete all formalities beforehand,” Grigory Rapota underlined.

Grigory Rapota noted that apart from the budget the Union State Council of Ministers will discuss a number of other issues.

The session of the Union State Council of Ministers was first scheduled for September but it was later postponed.
