Belarus-Iran cooperation prospects discussed

MINSK, 24 October (BelTA) – Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Valentin Rybakov and First Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Morteza Sarmadi met in Teheran as part of the Belarusian-Iranian political consultations on 22-23 October, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

The parties discussed the status and prospects of bilateral political ties, inter-parliamentary cooperation and collaboration in international organizations as well as expansion of the bilateral legal framework.

Valentin Rybakov also met with Minister of Industry, Mines and Commerce of Iran Mohammad Nematzadeh, Head of Iran-Belarus Parliamentary Friendship Group Ali Kayeedi, representatives of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
