EEC to develop cooperation with Eurasian Development Bank

MOSCOW, 23 October (BelTA) – The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) plans to establish cooperation with the Eurasian Development Bank. The draft memorandum approved by the EEC Board is available on the official website of the commission, BelTA has learnt.

The parties plan to hold joint analytical research, analyze and project economic development of the member states of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space, functioning of the Single Economic Space and in the operation of the future Eurasian Economic Union and use the data in working out recommendations to coordinate the economic policy of the participants countries in the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space.

The draft document envisages formulation of proposals for financing of investment innovation projects, including with the use of technical support instruments and assistance in the implementation of investment integration projects in the economic sector of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space.

Chairman of the EEC Board Viktor Khristenko has been authorized to sign the memorandum on behalf of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
