SES to suggest establishing single transit space with EU
MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) – The Single Economic Space (SES) has plans to invite the European Union to establish a single transit space from Lisbon to Vladivostok, Minister for Customs Cooperation at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Vladimir Goshin told reporters, BelTA learned.
“The Eurasian Economic Commission has started working on three very ambitious projects. One of them is still in the air: we want to suggest establishing a single transit space with the European Union, which will extend from Lisbon to Vladivostok. We have everything in place for that now. I hope that in a couple of years we will no longer have to re-do paperwork while importing or exporting goods from/to Europe, i.e. there will be a single transit document,” he said.
First of all, this pertains to automobile transport, as well as railway transport, Vladimir Goshin said.
