Bugpragres 2013 expo kicks off in Minsk

MINSK, 10 September (BelTA) – The 21st edition of Budpragres 2013 expo opens in Minsk on 10 September, BelTA has learnt.

The forum will feature a wide range of construction materials, technologies and hardware, heating equipment, special-purpose machinery, lighting equipment and workwear.

The business program of the exhibition will include a seminar on handling equipment, sectional and panoramic gates as well as specialized seminars on pumps and pumping stations used in heating, air conditioning, water supply, fire fighting, water drainage and land reclamation, on innovative construction materials and technologies in Belarus. The forum will also include a training session on sales psychology and a conference “Market of Doors in Belarus”. The objective of the conference is to discuss the current situation, the latest changes, analyze the market structure and capacity, export potential of Belarusian manufacturers and make projections for the short-term period. Attending the last year’s conference were about 50 representatives of manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers from Belarus and Russia.

Budpragres is Belarus’ biggest construction exhibition. In 2012 it gathered 350 companies from 11 countries, including Belarus, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.

The expo will stay open through 13 September. The forum is organized by Minskexpo in cooperation with the Architecture and Construction Ministry of Belarus.
