BUDAPEST, 20 September (BelTA) – A memorandum on cooperation in research and technology can be signed between Belarus and Hungary in a meeting of the intergovernmental commission in October, BelTA learnt from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary Alexander Khainovsky.
“It is planned that the meeting of the intergovernmental commission of Belarus and Hungary will take place in Budapest on 7-8 October. The commission will gather representatives of various ministries and departments as well as businessmen,” the diplomat said.
In his words, traditional sectors for Belarus-Hungary cooperation are industry and agriculture. “We have recently opened several more fields for bilateral cooperation. We hope the commission will sign a memorandum on cooperation in research and technology at the forthcoming meeting,” Alexander Khainovsky said.
