Belarus, Venezuela discuss residential construction projects

MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) - Belarus and Venezuela have fine-tuned the plan to supply building materials and the schedule of delivery of the residential construction projects in Venezuela, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Venezuela.

The issues were discussed in a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Venezuela Oleg Paferov and Venezuelan Minister of Housing and Habitat Ricardo Molina in Caracas.

The participants of the meeting discussed the status of implementation of the construction projects by Belarusian specialists in Venezuela.

The sides confirmed their mutual interest in the successful implementation of the joint projects in Venezuela. Currently, Belarus and Venezuela are implementing about 85 joint projects in housing construction, oil production, energy, agriculture, manufacturing industry, and science. The following projects involving Belarusian specialists have already been completed: the project to construct the residential district for 2520 apartments in the city of Maracay in the State of Aragua; the project to build a plant to manufacture ceramic blocks with the output capacity of 25 million units per year in the State of Miranda; the projects to build a facility to assemble tractors "Belarus" in the Santa Ines industrial zone in the State of Barinas and a plant to assemble MAZ trucks in the same industrial area.
