Belarus ambassador discuss joint investment projects with Czech businessmen

MINSK, 2 September (BelTA) – Implementation of joint investment projects were a highlight at the meetings between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Czech Republic Vasily Markovich and Czech businessmen on 29 August, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

The meetings were held as part of the International Agricultural Fair that is taking place in Ceske Budejovice (the Czech Republic) on 29 August-2 September.

The parties discussed the prospects for increasing exports of Belarusian agricultural equipment and other goods to the Czech Republic, implementation of joint investment projects.

Partaking in the International Agricultural Fair in Ceske Budejovice are 700 agricultural companies from 32 countries, including Austria, Belarus, Germany, Denmark, Russia, Slovakia, the U.S., Ukraine, the Czech Republic, others.

Belarus is presented at the expo by Gomselmash and the joint Belarusian-Czech company Bel-Czech Trade s.r.o. (Promagroleasing is the founder on Belarus’ behalf). Bel-Czech Trade s.r.o. has displayed various modifications of Belarusian tractors. Gomselmash has presented grain harvesters and fdder harvesting equipment Palesse.
