Corruption bill out for public consultation

MINSK (BelTA) – A public consultation has been launched on the draft law to combat corruption following the instructions of the President of Belarus, BelTA learnt from the Presidential Administration.

The bill can be viewed at the Sovetskaya Belorussiya newspaper of 12 August 2014 as well as online at the website of the Prosecutor's General Office and the National Legal Internet Portal of Belarus.

The draft law contains the mechanisms of preventing corruption, including restrictions set for functionaries, regulates the order of reporting the income and property of such persons, introduces measures against corruption.

Remarks and proposals can be sent to the Sovetskaya Belorussiya editorial office or online to the Prosecutor's General Office and the National Legal Internet Portal of Belarus.
