EurAsEC IPA dissolved

SAINT PETERSBURG (BelTA) – The EurAsEC Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (IPA) has seized to exist, Chairman of the EurAsEC IPA Kabibulla Dzhakupov said at the EurAsEC IPA Bureau meeting on 27 November, BelTA has learned.

“The Eurasian Economic Union will become operational on 1 January 2015. Hence, a decision was taken to terminate the EurAsEC Inter-Parliamentary Assembly,” Kabibulla Dzhakupov said.

The Chairman added that the experience and potential accumulated over the years of the EurAsEC operation would be used to develop the Eurasian Economic Union.
