Belarus, Pakistan ink agreement on friendship, cooperation

MINSK (BelTA) – An agreement on friendship and cooperation between Belarus and Pakistan was signed in Minsk on 10 August. The document was signed by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, BelTA has learned.

A number of documents regulating humanitarian and regional cooperation were signed in the presence of Alexander Lukashenko and Nawaz Sharif. Thus, the Belarusian Forestry Ministry and the Punjab Province government signed a memorandum of understanding. An agreement on twinning the cities of Minsk and Islamabad was signed as well.

Apart from that, a package of documents concerning cooperation between universities was signed.
