Belarus to attend meeting of Eurasia's Speakers of Parliament

MINSK (BelTA) – Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko will take part in the first meeting of the Speakers of Parliament of the Eurasian states on 18-20 April, BelTA learnt from the press service of the House of Representatives.

The meeting will highlight inter-parliamentary cooperation in the interests of joint prosperity of the countries in the Eurasian region in the 21st century. It envisages the search for ways to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation for securing economic and cultural prosperity, environmental protection and expansion of partnership ties. Vladimir Andreichenko is expected to make a speech at the plenary session and hold a number of bilateral meetings.

Heads of parliament of about 20 counties are set to partake in the event in Moscow.
