CIS Foreign Ministers Council to sit in Moscow 8 April

MINSK (BelTA) – The meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council will take place in Moscow on 8 April, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a briefing on 7 April, BelTA has learned.

Attending the event will be Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei. The agenda of the meeting will include 13 issues. Among them are action plans of ministerial consultations for 2015 and 2016, collaboration of law-enforcement bodies, cooperation in fighting oncological diseases, expansion of integration ties in defense, culture, education and the work with the youth. The meeting participants are expected to share opinions on the most urgent issues of the current agenda.

The Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs will also give a press conference for journalists from Russia and other states.
