Lukashenko: Belarus' cultural, information space helps promote integration, peace

MINSK (BelTA) – Belarus' cultural and information space helps promote the ideas of integration and peace, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said in his address to the participants of the 20th international specialized expo Mass Media in Belarus and the 11th Belarusian international media forum Partnership for the Future, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

These important international events are by right considered authoritative platforms for discussing topical geopolitical issues, crucial aspects of the social life and mass media development, the message of greetings reads.

“The meeting of heads of mass media outlets, political analysts and experts from neighboring and distant countries takes place in the context of a special peace-keeping mission of Belarus in a difficult geopolitical situation,” Alexander Lukashenko noted.

The head of state stressed that the cultural and information space which has been shaped in the years of Belarus' independence contributes to the positive creation, promotion of the ideas of integration, peace and good-neighborliness, productive cooperation in the humanitarian field.

Alexander Lukashenko wished the participants of the expo and the media forum interesting productive work and creative achievements.
