Belarus to verify lists of payers liable for fee to finance state expenditures by 1 April
MINSK (BelTA) – The lists of payers liable to pay the fee to finance government spending in 2015 is to be verified by 1 April, Belarusian Deputy Tax and Duties Minister Vladimir Mukvich said at a press conference, BelTA has learned.
“Work is now underway,” said Vladimir Mukvich. According to him, the effort to develop the proposals to amend Decree No.3 involves the Labor and Social Security Ministry and the Tax and Duties Ministry.
“It is expected that based on these proposals the number of payers will be reduced and measures will be adopted to regulate the fee payment procedure. Now it is too early to talk about who will be tasked with its administration. But I would like to note that the tax authorities are ready to continue to administer this fee,” Vladimir Mukvich said.
The Decree No.3 on preventing social dependency was adopted on 2 April 2015. Its main goal is to stimulate able-bodied citizens to engage in labor activity and to prevent social dependency.
